Peanut Granola Bars

 * 1 Egg white
 * ½ cup of Chunky peanut butter
 * 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
 * ¼ cup Honey
 * ½ cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter melted
 * 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats
 * ¼ cup Toasted Almonds
 * 1/3 cup Chocolate Chip (mini of you’d prefer)

Prep Directions
Spray a 7 X 10 baking pan (or as close as you can get to that size) with non-stick cooking spray, line with parchment paper (or wax) making sure you have excess paper hanging over the sides to lift up for easy removal, spray the parchment paper lightly with cooking spay as well.

In a medium bowl with a hand mixer beat the egg white until it is frothy,

With a rubber spatula stir in the peanut butter, brown sugar, and honey add the melted butter, oats, and almonds, mix until combined, when combined add the chocolate chips.

Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish (you’ll probably need your spatula to help) using your clean fingers or spatula form an even layer.

Baking Directions
 Bake in a preheated 350 F. oven for about 15 minutes, or until the edges are browned.

Let cool for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.

*Before I made this recipe I read reviews and other people said that their bars crumbled on them so I suggest cooking it for about 25-30 minutes, and I cooled mine in the refrigerator instead of the counter (just let it cool a little bit before I put it in the fridge and I left it for about 3 hours and mine didn’t crumble on me.
