I was watching the kids on Friday night and they wanted to make something. So I was trying to find a recipe that that we could make and have all the ingredients. Lilly got the brown sugar out and looked on the back of the box and found this recipe for Utterly Peanut-Buttery Bars. And yay we had all the ingredients. This recipe is actually really good (obviously very rich from all the peanut butter) and we found the recipe is best served warm because then the filling is all nice and gooey and warm. This recipe is SO easy to make and if you like peanut butter you'll love this recipe.
Ingredients
Crust
- ½ Cup of Soft Butter (1 stick)
- ½ Cup Peanut Butter (Creamy or Crunch whichever you prefer)
- 1½ Cups Granulated Sugar
- ½ Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1½ Cups All Purpose Flour
Filling
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter (Creamy or Crunchy whichever you prefer)
- ½ Cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ Cup Packed Brown Sugar
Directions

Reserve 1 cup of the crumb mixture to put on top of filling, with remaining crumbs firmly press into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Filling-Beat eggs, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together. Spread over unbaked crust. Sprinkle with the reserved mixture
Baking Directions
Bake in a preheated 375 F. oven for approximately 20-25 minutes or until the top is brown. Allow to cool for about 5-10 minutes and then cut into bars.
